Judah Oakes

I can't say I've known Judah as long as this photo here, but it has been a long assed time. He used to ride for Duffs back in the days and I would always see him with the other guys on our skate team. Eventually Duffs went under and it was my opp to have Judah on the etnies program. Fast forward many years and he's been working at Timebomb for a while now doing a ton of duties. Judah is one solid dude and glad to have him aboard!

We are experienced

If you are in the LA area.
Danielle Levitt arrived at her distinctive photographic style capturing street fashion, pop culture, and celebrity for countless publications. While producing this commercial work, Levitt also pursued her passion for documenting American youth. The result is We Are Experienced, Levitt's first monograph, a series of portraits depicting adolescents in a variety of urban, suburban, and rural settings, as individuals and in groups, loaded with signifiers both mainstream and marginal.
We Are Experienced includes football stars, anorexics, wiccans, punks, prom dates, snowboarders, and baton twirlers. Levitt revels in the beauty of the age and its incomparable potential. She also exposes an advanced awareness particular to a generation. The notion of strident youthfulness was invented in the last century; today it is an understood quantity, a streamlined experience. Levitt's subjects are well-schooled in the expectations, limitations, and developmental strategies of growing up American, and have unparalleled resources to identify in a multitude of ways. We Are Experienced is a lushly stylized archive of the choices they make.

Red Bull 3 Style

Sorry for anybody that tried to get in that couldn't. Over 4,000 people came through. Allot more than anticipated. This was the line up at 9:20...all the way from Commodore to Robson street.

Once inside mind you, people were treated to one of the more legendary nights that Vancouver has had on the Dj scene. Over 8 DJ's represented their best 15 minute set and the energy was insane for a few hours straight. I'm not a writer so read what The Province had to say HERE.

At the end of the night too much shit went down to describe.
1st place: P-Luv
2cnd place: Rico Uno
3rd place: Marlon J English
All the DJ's (shouts to Timebomb supporter's P-Luv, Rico Uno, Marlon J English, Neoteric, Tyler Fedchuk, My!Gay!Husband!, Marvel) that entered were super impressive and we will be posting audio and video at some point for you all to check it out. Next year we might do the Canadian championships here so stay tuned!
